Formed in July 2010, the aims of the partnership are:-

To steer and act as the principal sounding board for the development of a town centre partnership, including agreement on priorities for action, nurturing and garnering of support and involvement across the business community, and providing views on the governance and constitutional arrangements that will be required for the partnership to function fairly and, over time, raise its own finance.
